West Ham closing in on signing of wing-back previously wanted by Crystal Palace and Brighton in £22m deal

West Ham are closing on the signing of Slavia Prague wing-back El Hadji Malick Diouf.

The Hammers have had an offer of £22million plus a further £5million in add ons accepted and final details are in the throes of being completed.

West Ham have been in the market for a left-back after Aaron Creswell left at the end of his contract and subsequently joined Stoke City.

Diouf was a target for Crystal Palace and Brighton last season but now appears set to join their Premier League rivals. 

Tthe 20-year-old Senegal international will have a medical this week.

Meanwhile, Roma have stepped up talks with Brighton for striker Evan Ferguson who was on loan at West Ham last season.

Talks are ongoing over a loan with option to buy.
