The death toll from floods in Kenya has risen to 188 people since March

Nairobi, May 2 / WAM / The death toll from the floods that swept Kenya since last March has risen to 188 dead and 125 injured, according to what the Kenyan Ministry of Tourism announced today.

Since the beginning of the rainy season, heavy rains, exacerbated by the El Nino climate phenomenon, have caused floods that destroyed roads, bridges and other infrastructure in the East African country.
