Abu Dhabi Water Sports extends the cooperation agreement with the Kazan International Institute

Kazan, May 18 / WAM / The Abu Dhabi Water Sports Club announced the extension of the joint cooperation agreement with the Kazan International Institute for Cooperation with Africa and the Middle East, to host and organize the club’s camps in Kazan, the capital of the Russian Republic of Tatarstan.

The signing took place on the UAE platform at the Kazan International Forum in the presence of the UAE Embassy delegation, which included Hamad Al Habsi, Deputy UAE Ambassador to the Russian Federation, and Mohammed Rashid Al Mansouri, First Secretary of the Embassy.

The club delegation attended the final of the Russian Floor Hockey Championship as part of the sports programs accompanying the conference, with the participation of teams from the Russian Federation and the Republic of Belarus. It reviewed the specialized sports facilities, match promotion and crowd management systems, ticket sales points, and sports and entertainment programs accompanying sporting events, to provide an integrated entertainment experience. The Abu Dhabi Water Sports Club delegation visited the headquarters of the Volga Academy for Physical Education, Sports and Tourism, which is one of the most prestigious universities specialized in the field of education, training and sports management.

The delegation visited the university’s educational facilities, stadiums and sports facilities, technological laboratories, the sports medicine center, and the accommodation hotel for students and athletes and learned about the annual competition programs hosted by the university, which present champions and athletes at the Olympic and international level in more than 25 various summer and winter sports.

The delegation met with the Minister of Youth Affairs of the Russian Republic of Tatarstan, Rinat Siddikov, during the last day of the Kazan International Forum and learned about youth programs and the importance of sports in raising generations, and discussed opportunities for organizing camps and joint programs and the role of sports in enhancing the general health of society.

The delegation, which included Saeed Al Jasmi, Vice President of the Club, Fatima Al Ameri, Member of the Board of Directors, and Amr Badawi, Sports Director of the Club, participated in the conclusion of the forum with a press conference in which it reviewed the vision of the Abu Dhabi Water Sports Club for visits and partnerships for the second year in a row, and the extent of this impact on the development of its business plan and programs.
