Urgent.. The Foreign Minister confirms the international community’s rejection of the military solution in the Palestinian Rafah
Foreign Minister Sameh Shoukry stressed today, Monday, that the international community must take effective steps to impose a two-state solution and end the cycle of violence that has continued for 70 years.
Shoukry said – in a dialogue session on the sidelines of the World Economic Forum in the Saudi capital, Riyadh – “The Palestinian issue must be resolved and the cycle of violence that has continued for 70 years must be stopped. There are effective mechanisms and tools that we can use in this regard.”
The Foreign Minister stressed the need to take concrete steps and measures regarding the Palestinian issue, stressing The international community rejected the military solution in the Palestinian city of Rafah.
Shukry referred to Egyptian efforts to “urge the two parties to take two moderate and final decisions regarding the proposal submitted for a permanent ceasefire in Gaza,” warning at the same time of the consequences of not Reaching a final agreement regarding the current situation.
