within "Operation Chivalrous Knight 3" ..12 UAE humanitarian aid trucks entered Gaza

Al-Arish, May 2 / WAM / Yesterday, an Emirati aid convoy entered the Gaza Strip through the Egyptian Rafah crossing, as part of the state’s efforts to support and provide relief to our Palestinian brothers during the current circumstances and within the humanitarian “Operation Gallant Knight 3”.

The convoy consists of 12 trucks carrying more than 264 tons of humanitarian aid, including food, water and dates.

This brings the number of aid trucks that entered the Gaza Strip, as part of Operation Gallant Knight 3, to 440 trucks, which contributed greatly to alleviating the severity of the conditions suffered by the residents of the Gaza Strip and alleviating the suffering of the most vulnerable groups and providing them with basic needs.

The total UAE aid provided to the brotherly Palestinian people, as part of the humanitarian “Operation Gallant Knight 3” until yesterday, amounted to more than 22,436 tons, sent via 220 cargo planes and three sea cargo ships, where they are collected in the city of Al-Arish and then brought into the Gaza Strip via Trucks through the Rafah border crossing.

Operation Gallant Knight 3 also includes the implementation of the “Birds of Goodness” operation, which is carried out through air drops, which as of yesterday carried out 43 drops of humanitarian and relief aid on isolated areas of the Gaza Strip, with a total of 3,000 tons of food and relief aid.

On the other hand, the number of cases received by the Emirati field hospital since its establishment in Gaza reached more than 18,970 cases, in addition to 152 cases that were evacuated to the Emirati floating hospital in the port of Al-Arish, while 166 cases were sent for treatment within the country.

It is noteworthy that the UAE has established 6 water desalination plants with a production capacity of 1.2 million gallons per day, directly benefiting the residents of Gaza.
