Assange is appealing the decision to extradite him to the United States

Julian Assange’s fiancée, journalist Stella Morris, said on Twitter that lawyers for WikiLeaks founder Julian Assange have lodged an appeal against the decision of the High Court of England and Wales, which agreed to extradite the journalist to the United States.

According to her, Assange expects to file an appeal with the High Court, but according to British law, before that, the journalist’s petition must be considered by the High Court in London. This process is expected to continue until at least mid-January.

At the same time, in Morris’ view, if Assange ends up in the United States, he will be imprisoned and may be completely isolated, which will negatively affect the mental state of the journalist and may lead to suicide.
