More than a thousand Russian soldiers participated in maneuvers with tanks, artillery and helicopters at a training ground near Voronezh.

“In total, more than a thousand soldiers of military formations and units of the combined arms and aviation armies of the Western Military District participated in the exercises,” said the press service of the Western Military District.

More than 80 pieces of weapons and military equipment participated in the exercises. The press service confirmed that in the framework of a special exercise at the Bogonovo training ground, the multi-type tactical group of forces carried out joint operations of motorized rifle, tank, artillery and reconnaissance units in cooperation with electronic warfare, drones and air helicopters of the army.
