Oman and Qatar sign the draft executive program for the memorandum of understanding in the field of culture

Doha, May 10 / WAM / The Sultanate of Oman and the State of Qatar signed the draft executive program for the memorandum of understanding in the field of culture, coinciding with the launch of the activities of the 33rd Doha International Book Fair, which began yesterday and continues until May 18 of this year.

The Oman News Agency reported that the memorandum included exchanging support in book publishing, authorship, translation, digitization, book fairs, music, theater, libraries, archiving, protecting and valuing intangible cultural heritage, enhancing cooperation between cultural institutions, and exchanging the organization of cultural events and events.

She added that the memorandum will continue for the years 2024 and 2025, provided that the Omani and Qatari parties support the existing cooperation between them in the cultural and artistic fields.
