Jacob Moran To Reteam With ‘The Black Phone’s Madeleine McGraw On Horror Pic ‘The Necklace’

Jacob Moran is set to reteam with Madeleine McGraw, his co-star on the hit Blumhouse/Universal horror pic The Black Phoneon a new horror pic titled The Necklace that enters production in Atlanta in late May.

Details as to Moran’s role are under wraps. Madeleine’s sister, Violet McGraw of M3GAN fame, will also star.

Directed by Juan Pablo Arias Munoz, from a script by John Ducey, The Necklace watches as the Davis family navigates through tough times in 1960. Laura Davis has separated from her husband Frank due to his unpredictable temper, fueled by alcohol. As Laura returns to work as a nurse, her daughters, 11-year-old Ellen (Violet McGraw) and 16-year-old Judy (Madeleine McGraw), grapple with the changes in their family dynamics. The plot thickens when Frank attempts to win Laura back with a beautiful antique necklace, which turns out to be a conduit for the tormented soul of an evil boy from long ago, putting Laura and her daughters in grave danger.

Daniel Aspromonte and Christina Moore will produce the film, with Violet McGraw, Madeleine McGraw, Jackie McGraw, and Ali Afshar serving as executive producers.

Best known for his role of Billy in Scott Derrickson’s The Black Phonewhich has a sequel in the works, Moran has also previously been seen on shows like New Amsterdam and The Wonder Years. Next up, he’ll be seen in Amazon MGM’s thriller Holland, Michigan starring Nicole Kidman, as well as the indie drama Rebel Girl from Erik Jensen and Jessica Blank, and David Beck’s Regarding Us. He is repped by CESD, Houghton Talent and Zoom Talent Management.
