Egyptian Minister of Culture: Choosing Egypt as guest of honor at the Abu Dhabi Book Fair reflects the well-established relations between the two countries

ABU DHABI, 29 APRIL / WAM / Her Excellency Dr. Nevin Al Kilani, Minister of Culture of the Arab Republic of Egypt, confirmed that the Abu Dhabi International Book Fair represents one of the important book fairs not only at the level of the Arab world but also at the level of the entire world, stressing that the presence of Egypt is a guest of honor in this current session. It comes in honor of Egyptian culture and its role on the Arab and international levels.
Al Kilani said in statements to the Emirates News Agency, WAM, that the Egyptian pavilion includes many activities and seminars, in addition to screenings of documentary films, an exhibition of the most important visual artists, and an exhibition of copies of important ancient manuscripts from the Egyptian House of Books, in addition to a large collection of Egyptian ceramic works for the Development Fund. Cultural and Nile Folk Instruments Band, which performs throughout the exhibition.
She stressed the depth of cultural relations between the UAE and the Arab Republic of Egypt, pointing to the cultural cooperation between the two countries in many fields of literature and arts, which culminated in Egypt being chosen as “guest of honor” at the 33rd session of the Abu Dhabi International Book Fair, expressing her happiness to have the writer Naguib Mahfouz “ Exhibition character.
The Egyptian Minister of Culture said that the relations between the two countries are well-established and characterized by love, brotherhood and fruitful cooperation, pointing to the joint cooperation between the Emirati and Egyptian Ministries of Culture.
