DUBAI, 16TH MAY/WAM/ Under the patronage of His Highness Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai, Chairman of the Executive Council and Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the Dubai Future Foundation, the “International Challenge for Artificial Intelligence” is being held, the largest of its kind in the field of software command engineering in the world. Artificial intelligence at the Museum of the Future and Area 2071 in the Emirates Towers in Dubai during May 20 and 21.

The Dubai Center for the Uses of Artificial Intelligence, supervised by the Dubai Future Foundation, announced that the final stage of the challenge, whose total prize value reaches one million dirhams, will witness the participation of 30 finalists in 3 main categories, chosen from among thousands of entries in the competition from about 100 countries around the world.

The members of the “International Artificial Intelligence Challenge” jury have been announced, and in the art category, they will include Benedetta Ghione from Art Dubai, Saeed Kharbash from Dubai Culture, and Mazen Abu Najm from Microsoft.

Participating in the jury for the literature category are Mustafa Al Rawi from the International Media Investments Company, Ahlam Al Bolooki from the Emirates Literature Foundation, and Ramesh Chander from Google, while the programming category jury includes Ashraf Khan from IBM and Abdul Rahman Al Mahmoud. From the Office of Artificial Intelligence, and Ahmed Al-Sayed from Google.

Saeed Al Falasi, Director of the Dubai Center for the Uses of Artificial Intelligence, stressed that Dubai’s hosting of this international challenge reveals the importance of focusing on promising talents in the field of employing generative artificial intelligence tools and applications, and providing them with a global platform to display their skills and abilities to innovate and design future solutions and services.

He pointed to the widespread global interest in this competition, the largest of its kind, which was represented by the registration of thousands of entries from about 100 countries around the world, which embodies a clear indication of the increasing importance and spread of the impact of artificial intelligence on various sectors that concern people’s lives, starting from the economy and manufacturing to the creative and scientific fields. And cultural.

The first day of the “International Artificial Intelligence Challenge” in Area 2071 in the Emirates Towers in Dubai will witness enthusiastic competitions between participants in front of specialized arbitration committees, and participation will be evaluated based on criteria such as speed, quality, innovation, and accuracy of the content produced.

The best 3 participants from each category will be selected to qualify for the final stage of the challenge, which begins on the second day at the “Museum of the Future”, with the winners of the final stage sharing the competition prizes, whose total value reaches one million dirhams.
