The Governor of Giza directs to raise the level of preparedness to receive the glorious Easter of Easter and Sham El-Nessim
Major General Ahmed Rashid, Governor of Giza, announced that the maximum level of readiness in various sectors and public facilities was raised, coinciding with the approaching holidays of “the Glorious Resurrection and Sham El-Nessim,” directing the cancellation of all vacations and rest breaks for the heads of local and rural units and their service directorates and departments during the period Celebrations in order to follow up and continuously monitor the progress of work and provide all services to citizens.
The governor sent his sincere congratulations to all Christian brothers on the occasion of the glorious Resurrection Day, and to all the people of the governorate on the occasion of celebrating Sham El Nessim. Praying to God Almighty to protect our country from all harm and evil. The governor explained that an integrated plan had been developed, coinciding with the holidays, which included the formation of operating rooms in neighborhoods, centers, cities, and service directorates, to operate 24 hours a day, and to be linked to the main operations room in the governorate, in order to immediately report any events that may occur during the holidays and dealings.
The governor also directed the heads of local units and the Cleaning and Beautification Authority to prepare gardens, parks, and the Nile Corniche to receive citizens throughout the days of celebrations and review All Nile ferries, boats and launches, whether private or public, to ensure their suitability and safety, and to monitor the general state of cleanliness in the main streets and squares, while paying attention to lighting works to facilitate traffic, and lifting all occupancy.
< p> The governor directed the Service and Public Transport Authority, in cooperation with the General Administration of Giza Traffic, to monitor parking lots to prevent exploitation of citizens and increase the fare during the Sham El-Nessim holiday period, and to take legal measures against the violator. Major General Ahmed Rashid stressed following up and monitoring any case of infringement on agricultural lands and state property, and dealing with violators decisively, in accordance with the law.
The Governor of Giza was also charged with the necessity of consolidating cleaning work around churches and places of worship and not allowing any occupancy, while continuing efforts to remove and remove daily accumulations of waste and garbage from villages, centers, neighborhoods, and cities.
He was assigned The Governor, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Health, follows up and visits all health facilities and provides treatment services and health care at a high level of quality around the clock, taking into account discipline and the availability of doctors and workers, while equipping reception departments in public and central hospitals and providing all emergency medicines.
 
The governor added that the governorate’s plan included assigning the Undersecretary of the Ministry of Supply to ensure the availability of all strategic food supplies and commodities to meet the needs of citizens, while organizing oversight and inspection campaigns on markets, municipal and tourist bakeries, and fino bakeries. In neighborhoods, centers, cities, and villages within the governorate throughout the celebrations period, in coordination with all concerned authorities and the Supply Investigation Department, to ensure compliance with the issued ration decisions and to monitor and take legal measures regarding all food displayed in the markets in violation of public health requirements and their conformity with specifications.

In the same context, the Governor directed the Veterinary Medicine Directorate, in coordination with the concerned authorities, to intensify monitoring and inspection campaigns on markets, especially places displaying frozen meat and poultry, and fresh, processed, and salted fish stores of all kinds, to ensure the quality of And the suitability of products and goods offered for consumption, raising the efficiency of all slaughterhouses in terms of cleanliness and disinfection, and increasing the number of doctors working in them.
