British Defense Minister: We will not try to force Ukraine to accept a peace agreement with Russia

British Defense Secretary Grant Shapps said that the United Kingdom will not try to force Ukraine to accept a peace agreement with Russia. Shapps explained: “There is absolutely no sense in Britain trying to persuade Ukraine, by force or in another way, to accept giving up some of its territory, as this is a decision that concerns Ukraine entirely,” according to the British newspaper The Telegraph.

He added. Shapps: “I do not think it is at all reasonable for Putin to win this war,” noting that “what Ukraine does and how it decides to end this matter is their business.”

The British Defense Minister said: “ What I can confirm is that the UK will support Ukraine all the way.”
