Egypt faces Nigeria in the opening of the African Nations for one leg

The African Nations Cup for single-leg football opens today, which will be held from May 18 to 27 at the Katameya Stadiums, where the Egyptian national team will meet its Nigerian counterpart at the opening of the tournament

The opening is scheduled to be witnessed by Dr. Ashraf Sobhi, Minister of Youth and Sports, and a number of Egyptian sports officials and leaders, in addition to a number of artists.

The countries of Gambia are participating in the tournament. Senegal, Sierra Leone, Algeria, Kenya, Morocco, Burundi, Uganda, Angola, Nigeria, Tanzania, Liberia, Ghana, in addition to Egypt, the host of the tournament.

The first group includes Egypt, Nigeria, and Burundi, and the second group includes Liberia, Morocco, and Uganda. And the third group is Ghana, Kenya, Gambia, Algeria, and at the fourth group level Angola, Tanzania, Sierra Leone.

The formation of the championship committees is headed by Dr. Sherif Mahmoud Abu Al-Enein as director of the tournament, Islam Abdel Aziz as head of the volunteer committee, and Nermin Hajjaj as president. of the Residence and Transfer Committee, Engy Mohamed as Chairman of the Media Committee, Dr. Sameh El-Sayed as Chairman of the Medical Committee, and Dr. Manar Ali as Chairman of the Information Technology Committee.

The tournament will be held under the supervision of the Egyptian Paralympic Committee, headed by Dr. Hossam El-Din Mostafa, and headed by Professor Mohamed Adel Hosni, Chairman of the Single-Leg Football Committee, Professor Sarah Samir, Vice-Chairman of the Single-Leg Football Committee, and Professor Khaled Abdel Hafeez, Member of the Single-Leg Football Committee.

The national team consists of 15 players. :

Goalkeeper: Mahmoud Hanafi, Mahmoud Saber, Islam Mujahid.

Defense line: Mustafa Mahmoud, Ibrahim Ahmed, Ibrahim Ali, Ahmed Muhammad.

Line: Midfield: Mahmoud Abdel Azim, Islam Mohamed Fayez, Mohamed Ahmed Hassan.

Attack: Hosni Embarak, Abdullah Mustafa, Zaher Mohamed Zaher, Eid Saeed, Ashraf Ismail Ibrahim.
