The International Monetary Fund calls for preparing for new economic shocks in 2022

Kristalina Georgieva, Managing Director of the International Monetary Fund, said that the countries of the world must prepare for new economic shocks in 2022.

“We must be prepared for the fact that there may be more shocks,” Georgieva said.

The International Monetary Fund believes that in 2022, the pace of economic recovery around the world will slow, with more countries having to apply to the fund for loans.

Georgieva considers the tightening of monetary policy by the national central banks as one of the reasons for this.

In addition, Georgieva warned of unrest in various countries due to economic shocks.
