The Senate President praises the distinguished relations between Egypt and Bahrain

Senate President Counselor Abdel-Wahab Abdel-Razek praised the distinguished relations between Egypt and Bahrain, stressing the political leadership’s keenness to develop relations between the two brotherly countries and developing them to serve the interests of the two brotherly peoples and the Arab nation.

This came during the reception of Counselor Abdul-Wahab Abdul-Razzaq, Speaker of the Senate, on Sunday, at the Council’s headquarters, the Speaker of the Bahraini Shura Council, Ali bin Saleh Al-Saleh, and his accompanying delegation. The Speaker of the Bahraini Shura Council, Ali bin Saleh Al-Saleh, praised the rich Egyptian parliamentary experience, stressing Bahrain’s support for Egypt’s position rejecting the forced displacement of the Palestinian people and thwarting this plan… praising at the same time the role of the wise Egyptian political leadership in this regard.

At the same time, At the end of the meeting, the Speaker of the Bahraini Shura Council affirmed his deep appreciation for the good hospitality and warm reception that the Bahraini delegation had received since its arrival, extending an invitation to Counselor Abdul-Wahab Abdul-Razzaq to visit the Kingdom of Bahrain as soon as possible, which Counselor Abdul-Razzaq welcomed.

The meeting was attended by Representative Phoebe Fawzi, Deputy Senate Representative; Counselor Mahmoud Ismail Etman, Secretary General of the Council; Ambassador Dina Al-Sahihi, Assistant Minister of Foreign Affairs for Parliamentary Affairs, and Ambassador Fawzia bint Abdullah Zainal, Bahrain’s Ambassador to Cairo.
