Assiut University Hospitals wins the Excellence Award in implementing patient security and safety nationwide
The main hospital at Assiut University won the Excellence Award in the Application of Patient Security and Safety at the Republic Level, during a celebration honoring exemplary nursing at the Republic level, in the presence of Dr. Mohamed Awad Taj El-Din, Advisor to the President of the Republic, and Dr. Khaled Abdel Ghaffar, Minister of Health, a number of representatives of the World Health Organization, and the President of the Arab Doctors Union.
This comes as a continuation of the achievements of Assiut University Hospitals, under the patronage of Dr. Ahmed El-Minshawy, President University, Dr. Alaa Attia, Dean of the Faculty of Medicine and Chairman of the Board of Directors of University Hospitals, and Dr. Ihab Fawzi, Executive Director of University Hospitals.
The nursing staff was under the supervision of Dr. Khaled Abdel Aziz and Professor Nabila Ahmed. The Director General of Nursing presented a project on how to implement patient security and safety, with the participation of Dr. Sanaa Mazid, Director of the Technical Training and Nursing Development Department at the main hospital, Dr. Zainab Samir, and Dr. Asma Jumaa, nursing colleagues.
During the celebration, all of them were honored. From Dr. Asma Jumaa, a nursing fellow, and Ms. Afaf Muhammad Ahmed, a nursing technician, for obtaining the ideal nurses nationwide.
