The Weeknd is the most listened to artist on Spotify

The Weeknd, real name Abel Tesfaye, has become the most streamed artist on the Spotify music streaming service.

Spotify has over 85.66 million monthly users.

The previous record was set by Justin Bieber.
The Weeknd surpassed Bieber, who has 84 million monthly listeners, on January 22.

The Weeknd has unveiled Dawn FM’s new album on the Amazon Music Channel on Twitch and on the Amazon Music App. The artist’s video for the song “Duha”, included in the album, gained more than 7 million views on YouTube within three days after its publication.
Actor Jim Carrey also participated in the recording of the album.
