Ashraf Sobhi: "7 camps are preparing to enter service soon"

Dr. Ashraf Sobhi, Minister of Youth and Sports, confirmed that the Ministry of Youth and Sports is preparing during the coming period to actually operate and launch 7 youth camps in a number of governorates of the Republic, which comes within the national project for camps, which the Ministry of Youth and Sports developed in order to develop and modernize. Providing a distinguished infrastructure for Egyptian youth in all governorates of the Republic. This came at the conclusion of the Minister of Youth and Sports’ tour, which he undertook in South Sinai Governorate.

 

The Minister of Youth and Sports indicated that The Egyptian state, led by His Excellency Mr. President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi, President of the Republic, affirms beyond any doubt that it is always striving not only to advance and develop the infrastructure, but also to build the Egyptian human being and exploit his energies, especially the Egyptian youth, who have proven that they are capable of doing the impossible in order to His country.

 

Sobhi explained: The national project for camps represents one of the most important priorities that the Ministry is currently working on, especially in light of the Ministry’s keenness to expand the availability of youth and sports facilities that provide services to young people from all governorates.

 

The Minister of Youth and Sports stressed the necessity of developing all youth camps and equipping them at the highest level to be a destination for trips and camps during the coming period, which comes within the plan of the Ministry of Youth and Sports to contribute to improving the living life of the Egyptian citizen in all governorates, and providing a decent life worthy of him.

 

These camps are spread throughout the governorates of the Republic, including: 

 

 

Ras Sidr Camp:

 

Dr. Ashraf Sobhi, Minister of Youth and Sports, confirmed that the Ras Sidr Camp project has been completed, at a rate of 95% of the total project, with a total area of ​​2,300 square meters, which includes many services, including: "A legal playground, 2 artificial grass fields, a multi-player field, halls for technical workshops, a restaurant, an administrative building, in addition to halls for conferences and seminars.".

 

Youth camp in Tur Sinai :

 

The Minister of Youth and Sports indicated that the rate of completion of work in the youth camp in the city of Tur Sinai has reached 90%, and the camp consists of: “a main building, and 2 five-a-side courts.” And a multi-purpose acrylic playground, 20 scout tents for scouts, a fitness hall, a restaurant, a changing building, a multi-purpose hall, halls for educational workshops, light construction camps, a storytelling area, a barbecue, a green area and open yards.

 

Nuweiba Camp:

 

The Minister of Youth and Sports also confirmed that work is underway to complete the Nuweiba camp, where The concept for the camp has been developed and its implementation has begun, and it is scheduled to be completed during the coming period.

 

 

 

Camp Rashid:

 

In his talk about the development in Camp Rashid, the Minister of Youth and Sports explained that work there is still ongoing, but it is in the final stages, as it is preparing to open during the period The upcoming, which comes in conjunction with the work of developing the city of Rosetta as a giant national project, and the establishment of the new city of Rosetta, in addition to various projects, programs and activities, to serve the people of the governorate, including young people, women, and those with abilities and determination.

 

 

Hurghada Camp:

 

Dr. Ashraf Sobhi, Minister of Youth and Sports, explained that the Hurghada Camp had been completed, handed over and began. In actual operation, adding that the construction of a swimming pool was completed, delivered, and began generating income from the camp’s training schools.

 

Safaga Camp:

Shark Camp:

 

Sobhi pointed out Al-Qarsh Camp in Ismailia Governorate has been completed, and its operation will begin during the coming period, as the camp contains “a legal football field, a five-a-side football field, 2 swimming pools, two tennis padel courts, a conference hall, and a number of halls for workshops.” A hotel to stay in, in addition to its own restaurant.”

 

The Minister of Youth and Sports concluded his speech by stressing that these projects are working to achieve many gains, as many youth and sports projects will be built on them, which The Egyptian youth, especially the camps, will enjoy it, as well as re-exploiting the assets owned by the Ministry of Youth and Sports and developing them in a way that suits the requirements and ambitions of the Egyptian youth. The third element is the financial return, which the camps will be able to achieve through subscriptions or investors, which will benefit the camps in increasing their internal resources. And also lift the burden from the shoulders of the Ministry of Youth and Sports and exploit its own resources to develop the rest of the facilities in the various governorates of the Republic.
