Martyrs, including a Hamas leader and two children in Lebanon
The leader of the Hamas movement in Lebanon, Sharhabeel Al-Sayyid, was martyred when a vehicle was targeted in the Bekaa in eastern Lebanon. Two Syrian children were also martyred and a Hezbollah member was killed in a raid. Israeli forces attacked the town of Najariya in the Sidon district of southern Lebanon, bringing the party’s announced death toll to 300 and civilians to 63 people, while the Israeli army announced this evening that about 75 rocket shells were fired from Lebanon, noting that “dozens of them” had been intercepted. In a statement, the party mourned a fighter that it said “rose on the road to Jerusalem,” while the Lebanese News Agency reported that “the two Syrians who were seriously injured as a result of the Israeli raid on Al-Najjariya died, and they were the two children, Osama and Hani Al-Khaled.”
