Arsenal leads the league standings with 83 points, one point ahead of defending champion Manchester City, which has a game in hand, two stages before the end of the tournament.

The player, who rose to prominence with the Italian Napoli between 2014 and 2018 before moving to Chelsea, where he won the Champions League and the European League “Europa League”, as well as the European Cup with his country’s national team, seeks to add more titles to his cabinet.

He said about his hopes for the future after extending his contract, “Winning as much as possible and enjoying the moment because this is very important to me.” Because if you are in a place where you are not having fun or are not happy, it is difficult. So the future goal is to be in this state, happy and achieve as much (of titles) as possible.”

Arsenal will play its next match against Manchester United on Sunday in the 37th round before hosting Everton on May 19 in the final stage of the tournament.

Arteta expressed his happiness at extending Jorginho’s contract, saying: “Jorge is a very important player for our team, a role model with great leadership skills and a unique way of playing that makes everyone around him better on the field.”
