"Emirates Rooms" He reviews investment opportunities in the country during the Investment Forum
Abu Dhabi, 9 May / WAM / During the activities of the “Annual Investment Forum 2024” at the Abu Dhabi Exhibition Center (ADNEC), the Federation of Emirates Chambers held several working meetings with the heads of the participating Arab and international delegations, during which it reviewed the ideal environment, investment incentives, and existing and future projects adopted by the UAE.
One of the most prominent of these meetings was the Invest in Gabon discussion session, which was organized in cooperation with the National Investment Agency of Gabon in the presence of representatives of the Gabonese agency and a number of business owners, investors and companies operating in the country.
His Excellency Humaid Mohammed bin Salem, Secretary-General of the Federation of UAE Chambers, explained that the session comes within the framework of activating the memorandum of understanding signed between the Federation of UAE Chambers and the Gabonese Investment Agency, which was signed on the sidelines of the investment delegation’s visit to Gabon in February 2024. The Federation of Chambers also held a meeting with the Deputy Secretary-General. The Thai Investment Council and its accompanying delegation, in the presence of His Excellency Ahmed Juma Al Qaizi, Assistant Secretary-General, and Sultan bin Jamia Al-Hindassi, Director-General of the Fujairah Chamber of Commerce and Industry. During the meeting, the investment climate between the two friendly countries and the most important opportunities available were reviewed.
During the meeting, Bin Salem stressed the importance of coordinating efforts between the two sides to provide more incentives and facilities to the private sector by enhancing cooperation to take advantage of the opportunities available in many countries of the world. A meeting was also held with a number of delegation heads and heads of participating chambers of commerce, including Pakistan, Syria, Egypt, and Turkmenistan. During his participation in the activities of the Annual Investment Forum, His Excellency Humaid bin Salem, accompanied by His Excellency Ahmed Al Qaizi, Assistant Secretary-General, and His Excellency Sultan bin Al-Hindassi, Director-General of the Fujairah Chamber, visited the pavilions of a number of participating countries and viewed what the pavilions were offering.
He stressed that the participation and sponsorship of the Federation of Emirates Chambers of the Annual Investment Forum 2024 was positive and fruitful, and the forum in its current session was able to achieve its desired goals, indicating that the Federation of Emirates Chambers is keen to strengthen cooperation relations with many Arab and foreign countries, chambers of commerce and industry, institutions, economic bodies and agencies.
