A comprehensive plan to ensure the safety of pilgrims’ food, medicines, and medical products during the Hajj season of 1445 AH

The Saudi Food and Drug Authority has prepared a comprehensive plan to ensure the safety and quality of pilgrims’ food, medicines, and medical products during the Hajj season of 1445 AH, as part of the efforts exerted by the government of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to harness all capabilities and provide the best services to the guests of the Holy House of God.

The Food and Drug Administration participates in At the air, land and sea ports of entry for pilgrims to carry out control and inspection of the products subject to its supervision, and on food, medicine and medical equipment facilities located within the scope of the secretariat of the Holy Capital and Medina, as well as ration kitchens and seasonal medical headquarters for pilgrims’ affairs offices.

The Authority’s work includes: Providing awareness programs and messages in several languages about the safety of food, medicines and medical devices, preparing relevant field studies, and organizing workshops for workers in qualified kitchens in the field of food preparation to ensure their commitment to meeting all health requirements and ensuring the provision of safe meals, in cooperation with the secretariats of the Holy Capital and Medina.< /p>
