Pro-Palestinian mobilization: dozens of demonstrators gathered at the Sorbonne before being evacuated by the police

A few days after a tense pro-Gaza mobilization at Sciences Po Paris, the police entered the Sorbonne on Monday April 29 to evacuate pro-Palestinian activists who had set up tents inside the university buildings. “There were around fifty people when the police arrived running inside the courtyard. The evacuation was quite brutal with around ten people dragged to the ground. There was no ‘arrests’, Rémi, 20, a third-year history and geography student, who was one of the dislodged demonstrators, told AFP.
