Cooperation between "Ajman Finance" And"Federal tax" Regarding information disclosure standards
Ajman, May 21 / WAM / The Department of Finance in Ajman and the Federal Tax Authority concluded a memorandum of understanding regarding the rules and standards for disclosing information in the possession of the authority or its employees, and strengthening supervisory procedures to ensure that the security and confidentiality of information is maintained in accordance with the best practices followed in this field.
The agreement was signed by His Excellency Marwan Ahmed Al Ali, Director General of the Department of Finance in Ajman, and His Excellency Khaled Ali Al Bustani, Director General of the Federal Tax Authority.
According to a press release issued today, the memorandum of understanding comes within the framework of consolidating joint cooperation and enhancing a tax environment that encourages compliance in accordance with the best standards of governance and transparency, and adherence to legislation regulating the disclosure of information.
Marwan Al Ali stressed that the department is working to consolidate the concept of integration and interconnection with various local and federal government agencies for the mutual benefit of everyone and enhancing the competitiveness of the emirate and the UAE, pointing out that the memorandum is a positive step towards strengthening the relationship of constructive strategic cooperation between the Department of Finance and the Federal Tax Authority. .
Khaled Al-Bustani said that the memorandum of understanding provides a legal framework for exchanging information characterized by clarity and accuracy, which contributes to strengthening the cooperation relations between the Authority and the Department based on the best institutional standards, and consolidating the elements of mutual coordination in all areas of common interest, and in line with the Authority’s plans to maintain a tax environment. Encouraging compliance.
He stressed the authority’s continued keenness to strengthen its strategic partnerships with relevant authorities in the government and private sectors, due to the importance of the pivotal role of these partnerships in maintaining the successful implementation of the tax system.
