A fundraising campaign for Israeli extremists gathered JGive, affiliated with the Tzav 9 group, has received more than $87,000 from more than 1,480 donors, as of Thursday.

The campaign page announced the movement’s intention to "prevent convoys of supplies from reaching the Gaza Strip, in addition to the slogan" Tsav 9".."Victory depends on you!"

The group pledged to prevent all aid until all remaining Israeli prisoners who were captured during Operation Al-Aqsa Flood on October 7 against the Zionist entity in occupied Palestine are released.

The group’s fundraising page said, “Humanitarian supplies and aid must be withheld from civilians in Gaza until our prisoners have access to medicine, food, and Red Cross visits.” The page said: “Join Tzav 9 – answer the emergency call for our civilian forces, and help fund the costs of waging and winning this war.” Donate now – because our victory depends on you!".

As of Thursday morning, the group’s JGive page was still up and running and accepting donations, most of which were given in Israeli shekels and signed in Hebrew, though some were made in US dollars. It is signed in Latin script.

The page remained active for several months, through the continuous escalation of the group’s work and despite the arrest of many of its members. The site’s terms of use confirm that users may not post any content that “encourages the commission of a criminal or civil offense.” Or “constitutes a violation of any law.”

After a request from Newsweek for information about the fundraising campaign, a JGive representative said the group had been evacuated from the platform by late Thursday evening. As of Friday morning, the official website of " Tzav 9" It connects users to the closed JGive page.

The spokesperson said in an emailed statement: "JGive" “It is a platform used by recognized non-governmental organizations that comply with our regulations and the laws of the State of Israel.” We have closely followed recent events related to the mentioned page and have decided to remove it from our platform pending an official investigation into the incident.

"Tsav 9" International news headlines this week as its long-running campaign against humanitarian aid to Gaza escalates.

Activists have repeatedly attacked aid convoys, and this week, new videos emerged of members of "Tsaf 9" They destroy the aid, and demonstrators later burn vehicles.

White House National Security Advisor Jake Sullivan described such attacks as “full rage.”

In a statement to the newspaper “Jerusalem Post” Earlier this week, Tsav 9 said: The more violent elements of its work “are not in line with the values of our movement.”

The Israeli aggression on the Gaza Strip has been underway for seven months now, but its goal of “eliminating” On Hamas and subjecting the Palestinian territories to renewed military control still seems far-fetched.

More than 35,000 Palestinians were killed there, according to figures from the Ministry of Health in Gaza. There is still little clear plan for post-war Gaza, a fact that has led to conflict within the Israeli government of Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu. Israeli politicians and far-right groups are exploiting the political vacuum to push for punitive measures against Palestinian civilians.

This includes resettling them from Gaza; Re-establishing Israeli settlements in coastal lands; And the expansion of Israeli settlements in the occupied Palestinian West Bank, which is illegal under international law.

Such sentiments cause friction with Israel’s main international backers. US President Joe Biden and his senior officials have repeatedly said that no Palestinian should be forced out of Gaza; That the settlements in the West Bank constitute an obstacle to peace; Resuming Israeli military occupation there would be a big mistake.

Israel’s failure to facilitate adequate humanitarian aid to civilians in Gaza also angers the United States. The closure of the Rafah and Kerem Shalom border crossings, in addition to the recent attacks on aid convoys by “Tsaf 9” And others this week, to the frustration of the White House.

Sullivan told reporters in Washington on Monday: “It is absolutely infuriating that there are people attacking and looting these convoys. “We are looking at the tools we have to respond to this,” Sullivan added. “We are also raising our concerns at the highest level of the Israeli government, and this is something we do not care about — this is completely and completely unacceptable behavior.”

The Israeli Public Radio and Television Corporation said, “Kan” The "Tsav 9" It will suspend its protests until further notice in the wake of recent violent attacks on aid trucks. However, the group said in a statement posted on social media that its members “will return next week to prevent aid trucks from reaching the Gaza Strip.”
