Police dispersed the concert of the rock band “Metal Corrosion”

In Nizhny Novgorod late on Saturday evening, police dispersed concert of the rock group “Metal Corrosion”. The leader of the group, Sergei Troitsky, nicknamed Spider, two guitarists and about 40 spectators were detained.

How reported Kommersant reports that the band’s director, Maria Runova, accuses the musicians of demonstrating Nazi symbols. According to her, law enforcement agencies had complaints about the group’s branded products, which depict ancient Slavic symbols of the sun with rays bent in a circle. It is not specified what the detained spectators are charged with.

• The thrash metal band “Metal Corrosion” has existed since 1984. Sergei (Spider) Troitsky had previously been fined for displaying Nazi symbols, as well as for singing a song included in the list of extremist ones.
