Jay Ellis to Host MPTF NextGen Board’s 2024 Summer Party
“Top Gun: Maverick” and “Insecure” star Jay Ellis has been named host of the MPTF NextGen Board’s 2024 Summer Party, which will take place June 23 on the rooftop of NeueHouse Hollywood.
The yearly celebration benefits the Motion Picture and Television Fund, which supports working and retired members of the entertainment community through health and social services. Last year’s NextGen Summer Party raised more than $80,000 for the MPTF.
The evening will take place from 7-10 p.m., with Ellis acting as the evening’s host. The night will also feature a short acoustic performance from singer-songwriter Alec Benjamin.
“We are incredibly excited to bring back the NextGen Summer Party, which continues to raise much-needed funds and awareness about MPTF’s critical work,” said NextGen co-chair Jeffrey R. Epstein.
“The NextGen Board is dedicated to furthering the mission of MPTF and the Summer Party is a wonderful opportunity to meaningfully gather the next generation of leadership in the entertainment industry,” added MPTF’s chief development officer Courteney Bailey. “We are so grateful for their advocacy and passion for taking care of the community through networking opportunities, volunteering and engaging fundraisers like the Summer Party.”
