Lagoon Row: Child drowns in Melbourne’s south-east
A young child has died in a horror drowning.
Emergency services rushed to Lagoon Row in Officer, a suburb in Melbourne’s south-east, at about 5pm on Sunday night.
The child was pulled from the water unresponsive and died at the scene.

The age and the gender of the child is not yet known.
Police are not treating the death as suspicious.
A report will be prepared for the Coroner.
