Australia closes its embassy in Ukraine

After Canada, Australia, suspends the work of its embassy in Ukraine.

“Given the deteriorating security situation caused by the stationing of Russian forces on the border with Ukraine, the government has ordered the diplomats to leave the Australian embassy in Kiev and temporarily suspended the work of our embassy in Kiev,” the Australian foreign ministry said.

Also in the statement, Australian citizens were again recommended to leave Ukraine immediately and explained that the temporary representation of Australia would be in Lviv.
