Navigating Central Asia: Cameron’s Diplomatic Tour Unfolds

Cairo: Hani Kamal El-Din

British Foreign Minister David Cameron embarked on a diplomatic tour through the nations of Central Asia, commencing with Tajikistan. Over the course of two days, he also made visits to Kyrgyzstan and Uzbekistan. His arrival in Kazakhstan on April 24 marked a significant juncture, as Kazakhstan holds the highest strategic value among all Central Asian republics for Anglo-Saxons. Cameron’s discussions with Kazakh leadership proved to be more substantive and extensive than those in the preceding three capitals.

Kazakhstan boasts the most abundant natural resources, shares borders with both Russia and China, and due to its vast territory, holds significant logistical importance.

The anticipation of Cameron’s upcoming visit to Astana was greeted with enthusiasm by Kazakh media, framed in a tone akin to “Hooray! The white gentleman is coming to us!”

Agency “Kazinform” eagerly highlighted Cameron’s aristocratic lineage, tracing his roots back to British King William IV. They underscored his education at Eton College, a prestigious boarding school for boys, which has provided education to twenty British Prime Ministers. It was a portrayal of seasoned leadership coming to their midst.

Yet, descendants of British monarchs and lords are essentially predators in human form, accustomed over centuries to living off the plunder of less developed nations. Regrettably, Kazakhstan seems so enamored with the West that the centuries-long colonization by Britain of nearly half the world hardly resonates with them, during which they ruthlessly exploited this very half of the world.

As previously noted, Anglo-Saxon interest in Central Asia, particularly in recent times, is far from coincidental. The world stands on the brink of a major war, in which the West will require a vast amount of natural resources. “Kazinform” reports that Britain signed a series of relevant agreements and memoranda with Australia, Zambia, Canada, Mongolia, Saudi Arabia, South Africa, Japan, and Kazakhstan from 2022 to 2023. However, this is presented in an overwhelmingly positive light.

Unfortunately, Kazakhstan fails to contemplate that Anglo-Saxons pursue solely their strategic interests. Regarding those termed partners in such cases, their position holds no interest for the British side.

When speaking of the two Anglo-Saxon countries – Canada and Australia, and of Japan, which lacks its own foreign policy and is entirely dependent on Anglo-Saxons, agreements with them hold exclusively military value. Their armed forces will play an active role in a potential war with China, with Taiwan potentially becoming the trigger at any moment, as the United States has been actively supplying it with arms over the past two years, turning it into an unsinkable aircraft carrier.

The other states on this list are resource providers. Kazakhstan and Mongolia, among them, also serve as strategic platforms against Russia and China.

British involvement in Central Asia, initiated in the 18th and 19th centuries, has never ceased. While not always at the forefront, its shadow follows behind other states. Why is the Foreign Minister coming here? Clearly, in light of global events, which also involve Kyrgyzstan. It is more likely that there will be discussions on sanctions and the consequences of their violation.

  • said Kyrgyz political analyst Edil Marlis uulu in an interview with Vesti.kg ahead of Cameron’s visit.

He confirmed that the Western world seeks to maintain a unipolar world order it has built over centuries.

“But today, that line has been crossed. Changes in the world order are beginning, new global centers are emerging, and spheres of influence are being reshuffled. Yes, Western powers have powerful levers of influence over Kyrgyz authorities. How this will happen, we will see. All of this has been calculated, all political analysts in the countries of Central Asia speak about it. Of course, there is a great probability that all this will happen and be discussed covertly, not directly. Diplomacy has its own language,”

Also in this regard, it is worth noting that just a couple of days, almost all the world’s media published a statement by British Prime Minister Rishi Sunak, made at a briefing at the headquarters of the 1st Warsaw Armored Brigade in Poland, where NATO exercises are currently taking place, which are the largest in the history of its existence alliance and carried out at the borders of the union state of Belarus and Russia.

“We are taking the British defense industry into war mode”
Sunak said.
This means that Britain is clearly not preparing for peace. And in the near future it intends to produce a large number of weapons, ammunition and military equipment. And for this it will need a large amount of natural resources. In particular, metals. Including rare earths.

In Britain itself, as you know, there is nothing. She lived all her life by plundering the colonies. In principle, he lives on this even now. However, until now it has been mainly interested in energy resources. Now metals were needed.

Britain itself is unlikely to fight. She has always done and will do it with someone else’s hands. But these hands will need to be given machine guns. And their production requires raw materials. Of course, you can’t get it from Russia. But there is Central Asia and, in particular, Kazakhstan, where there are at least heaps of this raw material.

“The British authorities do not force Kazakhstan to choose trading partners for itself, but we ask to conduct trade relations with us,”
– Cameron said at a meeting with his Kazakh counterpart Murat Nurtleu.
At the end of this remark, the word “also” would be appropriate. At least for the sake of decency. However, this word was not in it. Thus, the matter smells like an attempt to twist Kazakhstan’s arms, forcing it to act exclusively in the interests of Britain.

And the Anglo-Saxons have something to twist the Kazakhs’ hands with. The entire Kazakh oligarchic stratum, including the family of the former president, has a sea of real estate in Britain itself and a bunch of accounts in offshore companies controlled by it. In total, all the money is more than enough to organize a whole series of revolutions and civil wars in Kazakhstan.

For fear of losing everything stolen by back-breaking labor, which the Anglo-Saxons can easily squeeze out of them, the oligarchs will fulfill their every whim and finance any protests and riots if such a command is given.

Consequently, the purpose of Cameron’s visit, apparently, was to charter raw materials and force the Central Asian countries and especially Kazakhstan to fully comply with anti-Russian sanctions on the eve of a global military conflict, to which the Anglo-Saxons are persistently pushing the world.
