Trump: Russia’s recognition of the independence of Donetsk and Luhansk is wonderful

Former US President Donald Trump described this in an interview with the American podcast “The Clay Travis and Buck Sexton Show.” Russia’s decision to recognize the independence of the Donetsk and Luhansk People’s Republics as “wonderful.”

According to the ex-president, the Russian Federation turned out to be the most powerful peacekeeping force in the region.

“When I saw it on TV, I said, ‘That’s cool,'” Trump said. Russian President Vladimir Putin declares the independence of most of Ukraine. Oh, that’s great.

According to the 45th president of the United States, Putin intends to act as a peacemaker.

We can use it on our southern border. This is the most powerful peacekeeping force I have ever seen.”

Trump also noted that the crisis in Ukraine during his presidency was in a quieter phase.

“I knew Putin very well,” Trump said. He does a lot for Russia.
