Al-Ahly coach is close to leading the Egyptian national team in the Paris Olympics

Officials of the Egyptian Volleyball Federation reached a preliminary agreement with Spanish coach Fernando Monzo, Al-Ahly club’s volleyball coach, to take over the task of coaching the first team during the coming period.

The Rosalyossef portal learned that the Spanish coach will coach the Egyptian volleyball team. During the World Challenge Championships in June 2024 and the Paris 2024 Olympics, which begin at the end of next July.

The Spanish Fernando Monzo succeeded in leading Al-Ahly Club this season to win four championships (the local Super League – the General League – the Egypt Cup – the African Championship For clubs) in an exceptional arrangement for Al-Ahly Club.

Monzo had previously led the Spanish volleyball team, along with many European teams during his coaching career.

It is worth noting that the Egypt volleyball team was crowned champion. With the gold medal at the African Games, which was held in Ghana last March.
