Austria releases frozen funds for… "UNRWA"

Vienna, May 18 / WAM / Today, Saturday, Austria announced the release of frozen funds for the benefit of the United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees (UNRWA).

The Austrian Ministry of Foreign Affairs stated in a statement: “After a comprehensive analysis of the action plan presented by the organization, we will release funds to UNRWA again,” explaining that Austria has allocated aid worth 3.4 million euros for the current year, the first installment of which will be paid during the summer.
