Netflix stops broadcasting Russian channels

Streaming service Netflix has suspended broadcasts of 20 Russian federal channels. “Due to the current situation, we have no plans to add these channels to our platform,” a Netflix spokesperson said.

For its part, Roskomnadzor commented on Netflix’s decision, the audio-visual service has registered more than 100,000 daily users in Russia. And the service must meet the requirements of Article 10.5 of the Law “On Information, Information Technologies and Information Protection”, including the most recent additions.
