Russia strikes Odessa with ballistic missiles again

On the evening of May 1, the Russian army again attacked Odessa with ballistic missiles.

Video and photo consequences explosions that caused a powerful fire are published by eyewitnesses in local telegram channels. The attack was confirmed by the head of the Odessa regional military administration, Oleg Kiper. He said that 13 victims were known.

A number of Ukrainian media clarifythat the main blow fell on the sorting depot and the branch of the Novaya Poshta company, which provides express delivery services. The company reported that there is no information about deaths or injuries among its employees yet.

• Russian troops have recently been regularly attacking Odessa with ballistic missiles. On the night of May 1, as a result of such a strike in the city center, three people were killed, including a police officer, and three more were injured. Earlier, on April 29, five local residents were killed and 32 were injured in the attack. Local authorities claim that the Russian army is targeting residential buildings and civilian infrastructure.
• The Russian Ministry of Defense does not comment on the strikes on Odessa, but insists that, in general, during the so-called “special military operation” it attacks exclusively military targets.
