America and the United Nations are discussing ongoing efforts to increase aid to Gaza

US Secretary of State, Antony Blinken, discussed with the United Nations Chief Humanitarian and Reconstruction Coordinator in Gaza, Sigrid Kaag, in Jordan, the ongoing efforts and joint commitment to increase vital humanitarian aid in Gaza. 

 

Blinken stressed – in today’s statement – the need to ensure the acceleration and sustainability of the recent increase in aid provision.

 

Blinken expressed his strong support for the work of the UN coordinator in Improving humanitarian relief for Gaza.
