Tomorrow.. elections for the Board of Directors and the General Assembly of the Rosal Youssef Foundation

The elections for the Board of Directors and the General Assembly of the Rosaly Youssef Press Foundation will begin at nine o’clock tomorrow morning, and voting will continue until five o’clock in the evening.

 

 

 There are 4 candidates competing for the two membership seats on the Board of Directors for journalists, 2 of whom are selected: Ahmed Samih, Ihab Kamel, Shahinaz Azzam, and Mahmoud Gouda.

 

While competing for the General Assembly seat for Journalists have 3 candidates, the voter has the right to choose 2 of them: Ahmed Zaghloul, Abdel Wakil Abu Al-Qasim, and Omar Alam Al-Din.

 

For the position of the Board of Directors for administrators, 8 candidates compete, and then  Only 2 of them are: Ibrahim Fouad, Ahmed Saad, Ahmed Fathi, Ayman Hassanein, Hosni Abdel Khaleq, Gharib Muhammad Gharib, Mahmoud Abdel Azim, and Hani Gamal.

 
 

 

In the General Assembly, 6 candidates compete for administrators, 2 of whom are chosen: Ahmed Shawqi, Ahmed Abdel Moneim Ola Shawqi, Imad Hamdi, Muhammad Kafafi, and Muhammad Saber. .

 

While 6 candidates are nominated for the seat on the Board of Directors on behalf of the workers, 2 of them are chosen, namely Ahmed Al-Prince, Ahmed Salem, Abdullah Saleh, Mohamed Rashad, Mohamed Moawad, and Nasser Mohamed Reda.

While 4 candidates are nominated for the General Assembly seat on behalf of workers, 2 of them are chosen, namely Ahmed Ghouiba, Ahmed Al-Saadani, Saeed Abdeen, and Sayed Haridi.

 

The National Press Authority, headed by Engineer Abdel Sadiq El-Shorbagy, formed a committee to supervise the elections for the boards of directors and general assemblies of national press institutions.

 

The committee was formed under the chairmanship of Adel Brik, the Authority’s legal advisor, and the membership of Dr. Ahmed Mukhtar, the Authority’s Undersecretary, Walid Abdel Aziz, Osama Abu Basha, and Al-Shaima Abdel-Ilah, members of the Authority, Marwa El-Sisi, Secretary-General of the Authority, and Medhat Lashin, the legal advisor to the Chairman of the Authority.

 

The elections are scheduled to be held in Dar Al Maaref, the National Distribution Company and the Middle East News Agency on May 22, 2024, and the results will be announced on  May 26, 2024.
