Minister of Human Resources and Emiratisation: The work of Emirati cadres in private sector companies constitutes added value

Dubai, May 16 / WAM / His Excellency Dr. Abdul Rahman Al Awar, Minister of Human Resources and Emiratisation, stressed that the work of Emirati cadres within the workforce in private sector companies constitutes added value to the companies they work for and enhances their contribution to the country’s sustainable development efforts, indicating continued support. For citizens working in various economic sectors in a way that contributes to their stability in their jobs in light of supporting the provision of an attractive work environment that stimulates creativity in private companies through a package of privileges obtained by companies committed to Emiratisation.

This came during his meeting with citizens working in the Abdul Wahed Al Rostamani Group as part of his visit to the company’s building in Dubai as part of the Ministry of Human Resources and Emiratisation’s celebrations of “International Workers’ Day.”

His Excellency praised their efforts and excellence in their work and called on them to constantly develop their skills and give continuously in the various job positions they occupy with the company.
During the meeting, in the presence of Khalid Al Rostamani, Chairman of the Board of Directors and CEO of the Group, and Dr. Amina Al Rostamani, Member of the Board of Directors and Chief Operating Officer of the Group, His Excellency confirmed that the distinguished results achieved by the Emiratization file, represented by the work of more than 97 thousand citizens in more than 20 thousand companies in the private sector, It confirms the effectiveness of the Emiratisation decisions and policies and the support initiatives launched by the government, especially the “NAFES” programme, in light of the strategic partnership with the private sector, which shows a great commitment to achieving Emiratisation goals, which enjoys the support of the wise leadership and continuous follow-up by His Highness Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Vice President of the State. Deputy Prime Minister, Head of the Presidential Office, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Emirates Competitiveness Council.
The growth rate in the number of citizens working in the private sector has reached about 170% since September 2021, the month in which the UAE government launched the “Nafis” program.
During the visit, His Excellency was briefed on the company’s training and employment programmes, praising its efforts in providing a stable work environment and its commitment to Emiratisation.
