“Dubai Airports”: The expansion of Al Maktoum Airport is a huge leap in the global aviation scene

Dubai, May 15 / WAM / Dubai Airports confirmed that the expansion of Al Maktoum International Airport (DWC) is a huge leap in the global aviation scene through a huge investment worth 128 billion dirhams.

Paul Griffiths, CEO of Dubai Airports, said in his keynote speech today at the World Airport Leaders Forum, which was held in conjunction with the 23rd edition of the Airport Show in Dubai: “The government has committed to the future of aviation, and we know full well that we were the largest airport in the world in terms of international traffic. “Over the past ten years, we expect to maintain this lead and increase it over the next hundred years.”
He explained that Dubai is not just building another airport, but rather shaping the future of air transport and establishing its vision for the airport of the future, noting that this project confirms Dubai’s firm commitment to providing the growing and diverse number of guests with world-class infrastructure and experiences.
