Tuukka Rask plays a symbolic pre-match match between Boston and New Jersey
Finnish goalkeeper Tuukka Rask will be the guest of honor in the regular season NHL game between Boston and New Jersey. He will present a symbolic confrontation before the start of the match.
In February, the goalkeeper announced his retirement, as he suffers from health problems after an injury he sustained in June last year. He has played for Boston throughout his NHL career since 2007.
Rusk played 564 games for the Bruins, 52 of which were goalless. His reflexes ratio is 92.1 on average per game. In 2014 he won the Vezina Cup.
The match will take place between Boston and New Jersey on April 1.
