14 killed in Pakistan floods within three days

Islamabad, May 6 / WAM / 14 people died, within three days, due to floods that swept several provinces in Pakistan.

Jinan Saiq, spokesman for the Pakistan Disaster Management Authority, said that the floods and rains that struck 14 provinces destroyed 140 residential homes and led to the death of more than 2,000 heads of livestock.

Muhammad Ashraf, spokesman for the Ministry of Public Works, announced that some roads in Badakhshan, Takhar, Jor and Nuristan provinces have become closed due to landslides and floods.
