The international community must mobilize all efforts to implement the decision regarding the ceasefire and the protection of civilians, and to ensure that humanitarian relief materials reach the residents of Gaza in a rapid, safe, sustainable and unhindered manner… according to what the Chinese News Agency (Xinhua) reported today.

The Chinese Foreign Minister pointed out that The recent escalation between Iran and Israel is an embodiment of the expanding repercussions of the conflict in Gaza. He called on the parties concerned to maintain calm and restraint in order to avoid further escalation of the tense situation.

Wang Yi said: "The waters of the Red Sea are an international corridor. “Important for transporting goods and energy.” He expressed his country’s concern about the tense situation in the Red Sea region for some time, stressing that his country adopts a very clear position on the situation in the Red Sea, and stressing the need to stop operations targeting civilian ships crossing the Red Sea.
