Dr. Reda Hegazy stressed the importance of educating students in a different way in light of digital transformation, artificial intelligence, and industrial revolutions, which requires preparing them for the future, especially since many jobs will disappear and be replaced by other jobs, pointing out Until the emergence of values ​​and the formation of knowledge among our students is the responsibility of the Ministry of Education and Technical Education from the time the student enters school until high school to qualify them for university education.

 

The Minister continued that technology must help. It is integrated with the educational program for knowledge production, indicating that the Ministry aims to prepare the student to produce knowledge, which entails identifying talented students who will make a difference in the future, stressing that the goal is not competition to obtain degrees, but rather education that produces conscience and values, which is called the humanization of education.

 

The Minister also touched on the need to pay attention to the upbringing of students, especially in the personal, cognitive and skill aspects, stressing that the school is the real place for teaching and learning and practicing educational activities appropriate to the students’ age and awareness and developing their skills and creativity.< /p>

 

The Minister directed the need for continuous attention and follow-up of students’ skills in reading and writing, especially in the first educational stages, because they are the basis of learning in the following educational stages.

The Minister praised Port Said Governorate’s implementation of school support groups, as it took the lead in this step, reviewing the Ministry’s mechanisms in this regard to reduce the burden on parents, by selecting the best schools in each educational department that includes an amphitheater or theater such as a hall that suits the needs of students. Students receive groups, attract distinguished and famous qualified teachers to teach in them, and the Ministry also allowed students to choose teachers, whether from inside or outside education.

 

The Minister also reviewed the developments in organizing free final reviews. For students of the preparatory and general secondary certificates, he pointed out that it is witnessing an unprecedented demand from students in the various governorates of the Republic, as it represents a distinguished educational service for students, as it is carried out through the formation of teams of distinguished teachers who are recognized for their competence to teach these examinations, for which 3 headquarters have been identified in Every educational administration at the republic level.

 

Dr. Reda Hegazy pointed to the ministry’s interest in the training, quality, and on-the-job training unit, which contributes greatly to the development of the educational process, as well as the interest in mechanization and digitization.

 For his part, Major General Adel Al-Ghadban, Governor of Port Said, welcomed Dr. Reda Hegazy, praising the efforts of the Ministry of Education in improving the education system, and the continuous follow-up from Dr. Reda Hegazy throughout the academic year. For all governorates, and to overcome any obstacles in order to discipline and provide distinguished educational service to our students in the different stages of education.

Major General Adel Al-Ghadhban said that planning, organization and training are the basic axes for advancing the educational process and it is a joint work between the Ministry of Education and the governorate, as Planning is the responsibility of the Ministry of Education, then comes the role of organization, which is the responsibility of the governorate to achieve discipline in the educational process, prepare roads within the governorate for students, and regular study times within schools, as well as organizing school day times, and qualifying and training teachers. 

 

The Governor of Port Said explained that the ultimate goal is to rebuild the student’s personality, stressing that true success is achieved through solidarity and concerted work between teachers, principals, and parents, stressing that the responsibility is shared with all parties to achieve a creative and distinguished student.< /p>

 

For his part, Mr. Mohamed Abdel Tawab, Director of the Directorate of Education in Port Said Governorate, reviewed the governorate’s plan and achievements in the field of school activities and developing the cognitive and skill aspects of students, noting the interest of the Governor General in developing education in the governorate, Which is consistent with the directives of the Minister of Education, and the decisions of the Ministry of Education to implement school support groups to attract students.

 

He explained that there are several axes to the plan, which are learning fun centers for the primary stage. , teachers, and primary school students, in addition to assessments and protocols, pointing to the organization of workshops for directors of educational departments to establish learning centers, which were carefully selected to be attractive centers and controlled by the available capabilities, becoming 13 educational centers in different regions of the governorate.

Mohamed Abdel Tawab pointed out the governorate’s interest in organizing summer activities for all age groups, starting from the basic education stage during the summer vacation period, through educational activities in all governorate centers, which are equipped with student evaluations and achievement files for parents to view. Things are to follow up on students’ regularity and levels, and these activities are implemented in cooperation with the Ministries of Youth and Sports, Endowments, the Church, and the Palaces of Culture, in addition to organizing exploratory scientific trips to support and enhance the learning and knowledge process among students.

 

And about Discovering students’ talents and developing them by activating various activities and developing their spirit of loyalty and belonging. He explained that work is currently being done with all available centers to develop this project, and many competitions have been held in 19 centres, adding that a literacy unit has been created and a structure has been prepared for it at the directorate level. To reveal students’ skills and create remedial programs for them, a values ​​promotion committee was also formed, which prepared a program and timetable for each administration and each school.

 

He indicated that training workshops had been implemented. To raise the professional competence of teachers, administrators and technical mentors, digital follow-up was also activated, explaining that Port Said Governorate is the first governorate to have a digital transformation in all fields, and ideas for technology were implemented and the unified email was activated for every teacher and mentor upon entering the school and through the technical support office in each directorate. To identify the negatives and solve them at the administration and directorate levels, save time and effort, and maintain continuous communication periodically. Many headquarters were provided in various educational departments.

 

The Minister thanked the Director of the Directorate for reviewing the plans and achievements of the governorate and school activities to develop the cognitive and skill aspects of students, which worked to attract students to schools.
