Hebrew channel: Hezbollah’s marches are a threat that is difficult for Israel to confront

A Hebrew channel said, on Saturday, that the suicide drones launched by “Hezbollah” The Lebanese air force represents a threat that the Israeli air defense system is unable to confront.

The private Channel 12 added in its report: “After passing More than 7 months after the outbreak of the war, Hezbollah is introducing new capabilities against the Israeli army, which is finding it difficult to deal with the threat.

< p>She pointed out that “in addition to the threat of missiles and anti-tank missiles, Hezbollah is increasing the use of suicide marches that are able to penetrate borders and cause casualties and damage.”

According to the channel, “Estimations indicate that Hezbollah possesses several thousand drones that it was able to smuggle into Lebanon despite years of attacks attributed to Israel on Iranian arms shipments through Syria.”

She added that the party “launches its marches, which are characterized by their very small size, over very short ranges of only a few kilometers inside Israeli territory, and on Low altitudes, which makes it very difficult for the Air Force to detect and shoot them down.”

The channel said: “It has been shown more than once that the planes The march that penetrated Israel was not detected by the surveillance system at all, and those who found it in the end were Israeli citizens.

It is assumed that These marches are intercepted by a multi-layered Israeli defense system that includes a group of Iron Dome batteries, aircraft and military helicopters.

But “even combat aircraft equipped with With advanced air-to-air missiles, it is difficult for them to intercept the drones due to the low altitude, slow speed, and small size of the drone,” according to Channel 12.

Alma Institute estimates indicate: Israeli Studies indicated that Hezbollah possesses more than 2,000 drones of various types, some of which it was able to produce itself with Iranian assistance.

According to the channel, the main drone used by Hezbollah in its attacks against Israel is the “Lookout”, which is a copy of the “Ababil” drone.

She explained that the talk is about “a small march with a warhead weighing between 20 and 40 kilograms, and reaching a speed of about 200 km/hour.

She pointed out that “operating Iranian drones is relatively simple, as they are small and uncomplicated flying tools, and most of them are equipped with with GPS and inertial guidance system.”

The channel added in its report: “That is, the crew of operators is feeding the suicide march and from Then it is launched towards Israel, and from here it makes its way independently until the moment it collides with the target.

While Hezbollah launches… Several suicide marches daily, one after the other. Fears are growing in Israel that he will suddenly launch a swarm of these marches, similar to the barrage of missiles and drones that Iran launched towards Israel last month.

On April 14, Iran launched an attack against Israel with hundreds of missiles and drones, which Tel Aviv said it “successfully” repelled. With the support of its international partners.

The channel continued: “Unlike the night of the Iranian missiles, such a situation (Hezbollah launching a swarm of suicide marches) would be more difficult because of the quantity.” Low flight and short range, which affects the duration of detection and warning.”

According to the channel, despite the Israeli army’s confirmation that it prepared for such a scenario, “We must prepare for the possibility that in events of this type there will be a significant number of suicide drones that will succeed in penetrating the Israeli defensive wall.”
