200 injured in crowded stadium collapse in India
Part of the stands collapsed in a crowded stadium in the Indian state of Kerala. During a football match attended by two local teams. More than two thousand fans were on the collapsed stage.
According to police estimates, about 200 people sustained various injuries. Asian News International claims that five people were seriously injured.
The collapse of part of the stadium occurred just before the start of the match. In addition to the platform, the lighting mast also collapsed, falling on the fleeing people.
