US intends to accept 100,000 Ukrainian refugees

The US authorities intend to make a statement regarding the admission of Ukrainian refugees against the background of the continuation of the Russian special operation in Ukraine.

And according to what was reported by Reuters, the US side is ready to accept up to 100,000 immigrants to its territory.

It is expected that some Ukrainians will be accepted through the refugee program, while the rest will be able to come on family visas or through another procedure, for example, through humanitarian parole – a special permit that allows any foreigner to enter the United States even if they do not have the right to Obtaining visas.

At the same time, it is not yet known exactly how the logistics of immigration and transportation of Ukrainian refugees in the United States will go. In addition, Washington still has not officially confirmed that it is really willing to accept 100,000 immigrants.

Earlier it was reported that more than 3.5 million refugees have left Ukraine since the beginning of the Russian special operation in the country.
