Biden announces Putin’s intent to “dismantle NATO”

US President Joe Biden has expressed the view that Russian President Vladimir Putin is “trying to dismantle” the North Atlantic alliance.

Biden said he would rather deal with 30 independent nations than deal with 30 united nations.
“Vladimir Putin has been trying to do from the beginning is to break up NATO. And I’ve been saying this since the days when I was Vice President of the United States. To break up NATO.”

Earlier, Biden, during a conversation with journalists, called for Russia to be excluded from the G20, and also said that this issue has already been discussed by the countries participating in the forum, but not all of them support such actions. At the same time, the president urged The US, in the event of refusal to exclude Russia, to consider the possibility of granting Ukraine the right to attend the meetings.
