The mayor of Kharkov, Igor Terekhov, said that as a result of the drone raid, several private houses were damaged and fires started there.

“So far, three casualties are known – all have already received medical assistance. <...> There is preliminary information about the Shahed attack on one of the favorite vacation spots of the townspeople,” – wrote He.

Later Terekhov clarified that the blow hit a certain transport infrastructure facility. “Preliminarily there is one injured person,” wrote He.

Early in the morning, an explosion occurred in Kharkov – according to preliminary information, the city was again hit by a missile attack.

The mayor of Kharkov, Igor Terekhov, wrote about the explosion, and almost simultaneously an air raid alert and a threat of ballistic missile strikes were announced in several eastern regions of Ukraine.

According to the Kharkov Life telegram channel, the explosion occurred in the Kholodnogorsk district of Kharkov. It is also reported that traffic was stopped on one of the metro lines.

Drone raids on the night of May 21 were also recorded in the Odessa and Nikolaev regions. The Ukrainian Air Force reported 28 downed Shaheds in the Odessa, Nikolaev, Dnepropetrovsk, Kharkov, Cherkassy, ​​Kherson and Kirovograd regions. In total, according to the Ukrainian military, the Russian army launched 29 drones across Ukraine.
