"Yangtze delta" It sets a record in China’s foreign trade

Shanghai, May 21 / WAM / The Yangtze River Delta region, which includes Shanghai and the provinces of Jiangsu, Zhejiang and Anhui and includes 41 cities and is the center of foreign trade in China, recorded a new record in its commercial transactions during the first four months of this year.

China Central Channel stated in a report today that the value of the region’s imports and exports during this period amounted to 5.04 trillion yuan (about 0.7 trillion US dollars), an increase of 5.6 percent year-on-year, representing 36.5 percent of total national trade.
